Parts of Angeline
Each layer represents something different and has some sort of sentimental value to me. First off, the background is a red blanket that I was given when I was a toddler. It provides me with comfort. Second, in the front of the photo I have a lego white house which I built a few years ago. I am very interested in learning about the United States, so my mom always insists on buying me United States architecture sets, especially ones of buildings in D.C. The picture up to the left is one of me when I was little with my dad. It is one of my favorite pictures of us together and stays hung up in my room. The last item up to the right is of a ceramic cat that I bought at a Chinese art fair. It supposedly brings me good luck whenever I rub its head. It is just something to make me feel better when stressed (whether it really works or not).
Cold Snow
My double exposure is obviously a lot better than my first selfie. I have gotten much better at layering pictures over one another. My placing of different pictures and text has also gotten better. This pictures looks a whole lot clearer than my previous one. I was also able to blend the photos together easier using blending modes and opacity rather than just opacity. The pictures also match in my double exposure, both of them with the theme of winter.
